School holiday outdoor fun, no matter the weather!
Are you looking to provide some additional nature time for your children? Day camps are a great way for them to try new things, expanding skills, getting into the flow of self-direction and free-play, meeting other young people and having a go at some awesome things like fire starting, knife work; and myriad other workshops brought to you by visiting Facilitators.
Circle Sessions
Our Circle Sessions are term-time woodland groups for children and young people.
We offer two sessions divided into two age groups: 5-8 and 9–13.
These sessions run in small, consistent groups and follow a calm, familiar rhythm across the school term.
Time in the woodland includes shared practical activities, group moments, and space for play, exploration, and conversation. Sessions are designed to support confidence, communication, cooperation, and a sense of belonging within a steady group environment.
Circle Sessions are drop-off sessions and take place in our private woodland setting.
Places are limited. All Circle Sessions are accessed via an application process to ensure the group is a good fit for everyone involved.
Haven Sessions
Parent-and-child sessions. All ages are welcome.
Our Haven Sessions are term-time woodland sessions designed for children who benefit from attending alongside a parent or carer.
These sessions offer a calm, supportive space for families to spend time together in nature, held by experienced facilitators who are attuned to a wide range of needs, including higher needs and SEN.
The woodland is set up to allow flexibility and choice. Optional, gentle activities are available for children who wish to take part, while open play space allows others to explore freely and engage at their own pace. There is no pressure to join in, and all activities are suitable to be adapted across ages and abilities.
Parents and carers are welcome to spend time around the fire, connect with one another, or simply be present while their children explore. The structure of Haven sessions supports regulation, safety, and ease, allowing families to settle into the space in ways that feel right for them.
Haven sessions are bookable directly when dates are released. If you would like to register your interest or help us gauge demand for future sessions, please let us know via the form below.
